Simple Flow | 22-Minute Vinyasa Yoga for Strength, Grace & Flowing Power

Simple Flow – 22-Minute Vinyasa Yoga for Strength, Grace & Flowing Power

Strength from within. Beauty through movement. Power with grace.

Join Chris Abay at YinWave Yoga for this free 22-minute Simple Vinyasa Flow class, exploring the beauty of traditional breath-led yoga sequences.

This flowing practice combines strength, mobility and mindful movement, using classic Vinyasa transitions to develop a stronger, more coordinated and confident body.

At the centre of the practice is Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose), an important posture in many traditional and modern Vinyasa Yoga sequences.

Classic Vinyasa Yoga Postures

Throughout this class, we explore the connection between:

  • Phalakasana (Plank Pose): Developing core and shoulder stability.

  • Chaturanga Dandasana (Four-Limbed Staff Pose): Building controlled upper-body strength.

  • Urdhva Mukha Svanasana (Upward Facing Dog): Creating openness through the chest and front body.

  • Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward Facing Dog): Lengthening the body while maintaining strength and stability.

Together, these movements form a familiar Vinyasa sequence, linking individual postures into a continuous, flowing practice guided by the rhythm of the breath.

The Benefits of Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Regular Vinyasa Yoga practice can help improve:

  • Upper-body and core strength.

  • Flexibility and functional mobility.

  • Muscular endurance and stability.

  • Coordination and body awareness.

  • Breath control and concentration.

  • Confidence in physical movement.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is more than a physical workout. By coordinating breathing with movement, it can become a form of moving meditation, encouraging concentration, presence and a deeper connection with your body.

Finding Strength and Beauty From Within

In yoga philosophy, the Sanskrit principles of Sthira (steadiness) and Sukha (ease) remind us that a balanced practice requires both effort and softness.

Strength does not have to be rigid, and graceful movement does not have to be weak.

In this Simple Flow practice, we bring these qualities together, discovering how flowing movement can become powerful without losing its elegance.

At YinWave Yoga, we believe that Yin and Yang belong together: stillness and movement, softness and strength, rest and vitality.

Simple Flow invites you to move with confidence, discover strength from within and experience the beauty of graceful, flowing power.
